Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that Turkish Stream pipeline is going to be operational very soon. Turkish Stream pipeline is a project to deliver Russian gas to Europe trough Turkey.
This project has been postponed several times due to protests and political preasure of some western countries and due to the conflict between Moscow and Ankara after Turkey shot down a Russian warplane in Syria.
But many things have changed since then: failed coup , Turkey new initiative to recognize ISIS as a terrorist organization that must be stopped and and the thaw in relations between Russia and Turkey may inject some new life in this pipeline project.
