North Korea launches ballistic missiles from a submarine in the Sea of Japan.
The lainch has been announced by South Korea’s Yonhap news agency.
North Korea appeared to resume activities this year at producing plutonium – which can be used in the core of an atomic bomb .
U.N. nuclear watchdog has confirmed, although it added that signs of those activities stopped last month.
The North Korea has even threatened to turn the US and South Korean armies into a “heap of ashes” after they were spotted performing joint military exercises.
North Korea launched a submarine at around 5:30 am Wednesday, South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said, revealing the launch to have occurred near Sinpo, a port in North Korea’s northeast. It was reported by Reuters.
The test comes just two days after South Korea and the U.S. kicked off joint Ulchi Freedom military drills on Monday, which will last until September 2.
This unthinkable bad timing for showing power and provocation is unbelievable. This time everybody should condem these kind of provocations. These are very turbulent times we do not need more turbulence.
